Ask North Star
Ask North Star is the conversational entrance to the command system.
Useful questions include:
- What needs my attention?
- What is running now?
- What will run next?
- Where does this project stand?
- Continue improving this project, starting with the next useful issue.
- Show me the evidence for the last release.
A clean conversation view
Section titled “A clean conversation view”The sheet opens over the current route so you do not lose the work in front of you. It shows a compact recent conversation, provides a clear input area, and keeps old test prompts out of the normal operator view.
Conversation and action are separate
Section titled “Conversation and action are separate”An answer can explain state, propose a plan, or prepare an action. Protected actions still follow the same rules as buttons and schedules. A chat message does not quietly grant permission for public release, secret access, destructive cleanup, or another protected change.
Attachments
Section titled “Attachments”When image or file analysis is available, the attachment belongs to the current request and follows a bounded retention policy. Expired attachments are shown honestly rather than pretending they can still be inspected.
Where the result goes
Section titled “Where the result goes”If conversation starts real work, the resulting item belongs in Work, its project context belongs in Projects, and its outcome belongs in History. The chat remains a readable direction layer, not the only record.
