Video Review

Review brings the current cut, its version history and feedback into one workspace. The inbox shows the newest versions still needing review. Search by title or version label, or filter by channel. Previously reviewed work remains in the library.

  1. Confirm the episode, format and selected version. Full episodes and individual Shorts have separate identities.
  2. Watch the complete video, including its ending. Portrait and landscape cuts keep their own aspect ratio.
  3. Inspect the thumbnail, release details and declared soundtrack sources. Source players show available cue times and sound choices; missing references remain visible.
  4. Leave a concrete note. Attach the current playback time when the change concerns a particular moment.
  5. Choose Hold, Request changes, Approve video or Review release as appropriate.

Approve video records creative acceptance of that exact version and allows preparation to continue. It includes background music as mixed into that cut. It does not mark the entire standalone music recording as kept, and it does not authorize publication by itself.

Approve release covers the exact release package: media, thumbnail, destination accounts, metadata, disclosures and schedule. Missing release requirements block this decision. Follow the resulting handoff in Production, then verify platform evidence in Calendar.

See the annotated Cut 02 / Cut 03 example for the boundary between a version, its creative decision and a separate platform result.

A revision is a new version. Earlier media, comments and choices remain available, but approval does not transfer to changed bytes. Only the current eligible version accepts a new decision. Importing a version never creates a human decision.

Technical playback checks show that media can load and advance. Listening and creative judgment belong to the human reviewer.
